1. Who We Are
This website is operated by Timberwolf Construction Inc. ("Timberwolf Construction Inc.," "we," "us," or "our"), a licensed roofing contractor in New Mexico, NM Lic. #426379.
| Mailing address | 4801 Lang Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109 |
|---|---|
| Phone | 505-226-1101 |
| info@timberwolfconstruction.com | |
| Website | timberwolfconstruction.com |
This policy applies to timberwolfconstruction.com and to information you give us through the site. It does not cover information you give us in person, over the phone, or through a third-party platform such as Google or a review site, though we handle that information with the same care.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly
When you complete a residential or commercial inspection request, you may provide:
- Contact details — your name, phone number, and email address
- Property location — street address, city or service area, and ZIP code
- Property details — property type, roof age, roof material, number of stories, approximate square footage, number of buildings, and current roof system
- Situation details — the reason you are contacting us, urgency, known issues, access and occupancy notes, and any free-text notes you choose to add
- Insurance status — whether a claim has been filed, is planned, or is not involved
- Contact preferences — your preferred contact method, best time to reach you, and whether we may leave a voicemail
- Commercial details — company name, your role, project timeline, and bid deadline, on the commercial form
Free-text fields are optional. Please do not enter Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, policy numbers, health information, or government ID numbers into any field on this site. We do not ask for that information through the website and do not need it to schedule an inspection.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and version, device and screen size, and operating system
- Referral and campaign data — the page that referred you, the page you landed on, and campaign parameters such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and gclid where present in the link you followed
- Submission metadata — the date and time of your submission and how long the form took to complete, which we use to detect automated spam
Information stored in your own browser
To keep you from losing your answers if you close the page or lose signal, our inspection form saves your in-progress answers in your browser's local storage on your own device. That draft is not transmitted to us. It stays on your device, expires automatically after seven days, and is deleted as soon as you submit the form. You can clear it at any time by choosing "Start over" when the form offers to resume, or by clearing your browser's site data.
Information from third parties
If you contact us through Google Business Profile, a review platform, or a social network, we receive whatever information that platform passes along, governed by that platform's own privacy policy. We may also receive information from your insurance carrier or adjuster if you ask us to work with them on a claim.
3. How We Use Your Information
| Purpose | What that means in practice |
|---|---|
| Scheduling and performing your inspection | Contacting you, confirming an appointment, finding the property, and arriving prepared for the specific roof and issue you described |
| Preparing estimates and proposals | Sizing the job accurately and quoting materials appropriate to your roof |
| Performing work you hire us for | Ordering materials, scheduling crews, permitting, and warranty registration |
| Supporting an insurance claim | Documenting damage and communicating with your adjuster, only if you ask us to |
| Customer service and follow-up | Answering questions, and the 12-month follow-up inspection we offer after a replacement |
| Improving the website | Understanding which pages and steps people find useful or confusing, in aggregate |
| Security and fraud prevention | Detecting automated spam submissions and abuse of our forms |
| Legal and recordkeeping | Meeting contractor licensing, tax, warranty, and insurance recordkeeping obligations |
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
4. Calls, Texts, and Email — Your Consent
We contact you the way you asked us to, and nothing else. Submitting an inspection request is not a purchase, it does not obligate you to buy anything, and consent to be contacted by phone or text is never a condition of getting an inspection or an estimate.
When you submit a form, you are asking us to contact you about your inspection request. We use the contact method and time window you selected. If you tell us not to leave a voicemail, we do not leave one.
Text messages
If you select text message as your preferred contact method, you are giving us permission to text you about your inspection, appointment, and project. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with the stage of your project.
- To stop, reply STOP to any text, or simply tell us — by text, phone, email, or in person — that you no longer want messages. We honor opt-out requests received by any reasonable method.
- For help, reply HELP or call 505-226-1101.
- We process opt-out requests promptly, and in all cases within ten business days.
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages without separate, clearly labeled written consent that you provide knowingly. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.
We email you about your request and your project. If we ever send promotional email, it will include a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing from marketing will not stop the transactional messages you need about an active job.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site — pages viewed, general location, device type, and how you arrived here. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.
We also use the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, a conversion-tracking tool that helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and understand which visitors go on to request an inspection. It uses cookies and similar technology, and may share data about your visit with Meta in accordance with Meta's Privacy Policy. You can adjust how Meta uses your data for ads through your Facebook ad preferences.
The site also uses browser local storage for the purpose described in Section 2 — saving your in-progress form answers on your own device so a refresh does not cost you your work.
We do not use session recording or any tool that reconstructs your individual browsing activity beyond what's described above. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage through their settings, and Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics; doing so will not prevent you from using this site, though the form may stop offering to restore a saved draft.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with lead-generation brokers or resell it to other contractors.
We share information only in these situations:
- Our own team — employees and crew members who need it to contact you, prepare for, or perform the work
- Service providers — companies that host our website, deliver our email, or run our customer-management system, acting on our instructions and only for those purposes
- Subcontractors and suppliers — where a specific portion of your project requires them, limited to what that work requires
- Your insurance carrier or adjuster — only when you have asked us to support a claim
- Lenders or financing partners — only if you choose to pursue financing and initiate that application yourself
- Professional advisors — our attorneys, accountants, or insurers when genuinely necessary
- Legal requirements — when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to establish or defend legal claims
- Business transfer — if the business is sold or merged, customer records may transfer as part of that transaction; we would post notice on this page
7. How Long We Keep It
| Inspection requests that do not become jobs | Up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted |
|---|---|
| Customer and project records | Retained for the life of any applicable workmanship or manufacturer warranty, plus the period required by New Mexico contractor licensing, tax, and insurance recordkeeping rules |
| Insurance claim documentation | Retained while the claim is open and for the period required after it closes |
| In-progress form drafts | Stored on your own device only; expire automatically after 7 days |
| Website technical logs | Retained on a rolling short-term basis for security and troubleshooting |
When a retention period ends, we delete the records or render them unreadable. You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see Section 9.
8. How We Protect It
We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect the information you give us, including transmitting form submissions over an encrypted HTTPS connection, restricting access to lead and customer records to people who need it, storing submitted records in a location that is not publicly accessible from the web, and applying rate limiting and spam filtering to our forms.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach of your unencrypted personal identifying information occurs, we will notify you as required by the New Mexico Data Breach Notification Act (NMSA Chapter 57, Article 12C), which requires notice without unreasonable delay and no later than 45 calendar days after discovery, and notice to the New Mexico Attorney General where more than 1,000 New Mexico residents are affected.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
- Delete your information, subject to records we must keep for warranty, tax, licensing, or legal reasons
- Stop contacting you, by any method or all methods
- Receive a copy of the information you submitted through our forms
To make a request, call 505-226-1101 or email info@timberwolfconstruction.com with enough detail for us to locate your record. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
California residents
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives California residents rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we do not process sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a limitation right. We extend the access, correction, and deletion rights described above to California residents, and you may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Residents of other states
Several states, including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, and others, provide similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of personal data, and to appeal a refused request. We extend the same rights described above to residents of those states. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will provide a written explanation of the outcome.
10. Children’s Privacy
This website is intended for adults making decisions about property they own or manage. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and our forms are not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
Our Learning Center, Insurance Center, and Financing Center link to outside resources such as the New Mexico Office of Superintendent of Insurance, the New Mexico Construction Industries Division, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and manufacturer documentation. Those sites are not operated by us, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Their policies govern anything you do there.
Links to outside resources are provided for your information. They do not imply endorsement of us by those organizations, or of them by us.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices, tools, or legal obligations change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle information you already gave us, we will take reasonable steps to notify you directly. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
